Often prodromal symptoms
- Not always but when a prodromal period (= pre-syncope) is present, it involves:
- Light-headedness
- Feeling of being warm/cold
- Nausea
- Palpitations
- Sweating
- Weakness
- Pallor
- Visual blurring | pupil dilation
- Diminution of hearing and/or occurrence of unusual sounds (wheezing)
- nearly blacking out/nearly fainting
