Ms G (26 years) fainted after an 'aerobics' session. She registered for the course after participating in a study in UZ Gasthuisberg, for which she passed an incremental exercise test. The test showed a mildly reduced exercise capacity (VO2 89%pred). Peak heart rate was 190/min and VEpeak was 76% MVV. There was no desaturation.
G just started her first job as a secretary. She recently moved from her students residence to a studio. She has a medical history of asthma and takes short acting bronchodilators as needed. In the last few weeks, she reports higher bronchodilator use.
Anamnesis learns that she has frequently dizziness, Tense feeling , Fast or deep breathing and Tingling in fingers and hands, occasionally she reports stiffness or cramps in fingers and hands. On the Nijmegen questionnaire she scores 30.
